Cowboys sharing stories at Museum

Stop by the Museum of the San Ramon Valley tomorrow and talk to former cowboy and ranch hand Barney Robles, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Barney grew up in the San Ramon Valley and worked on the Bishop and Wiedemann ranches before becoming a fireman. He continued to work as a cowboy for Hap Magee and at other ranches on his days off. Robles appearance is in conjunction with the current exhibit, "Agriculture, For a Century, the Business of the Valley," which highlights the period 1850-1950. It runs through May 10.
