Mary Piepho has stated that she wants to keep the San Ramon Valley together including Blackhawk, Tassajara Valley, and Dougherty Valley within the boundaries of SRV. She does not want Alamo and Diablo and she is not alone. District 2, 4 and 5 supervisors do not want Alamo and Diablo due to the political capabilities of wealth, power and counsel in our region. WE are dangerous to any supervisor in their view.
No supervisor wants Alamo in their district unless Alamo voters can be politically nullified by major citiesâ€™ voters. Map and documentation reportedly to be the supervisorsâ€™ preference discovered via Contra Costa Council members would see Alamo and Diablo disappearing into District 4's voting majority in Concord, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek.
