A Chef Shows His Appreciation

Original post made by Jacqui Love Marshall, San Ramon, on Nov 19, 2009

When I think of the word "ambassador," Chef Rodney Worth warmly comes to mind. Worth, executive chef of The Peasant and the Pear, is a passionate ambassador of great food...good deeds...and Danville/San Ramon. If you've ever met him, his friendly energy and broad smile are as authentic as his "Mediterranean comfort food" cuisine.

I agree with Jacqui! This was a wonderful event for not only the patrons of "The Peasant and The Pear" and "The Peasant's Courtyard," but we also raised a lot for the Food Bank of Contra Costa/Solano Counties.

The grand total from Monday night: 1,090 pounds of food was donated and $2,250 in cash and checks!

Thank you and God Bless you all!
