Caltrans alters public on future Bay Bridge realignment

Motorists heading into Oakland will be confronted with a new, wider curve as early as Sunday, May 29, if crews finish on schedule, Caltrans spokesman Bart Ney said. The new Oakland touchdown curve will be wider and easier to drive than the current configuration, meaning speed limits will not need to be reduced.

Ed-- you might want to fix the headline, which probably wants to say "Alerts" instead of "Alters".

I don't know - maybe CalTrans really does want to alter the public. After all, every other dang government agency wants to alter us.
