San Ramon City Council tops area for pay, benefits

Original post made on Feb 23, 2013

His salary may be more than that of the rest of City Council -- $17,691 versus $15,754 -- but that's less than the benefits received by others.

I don't think any elected officials should receive pay or a pension. It's a civil service to serve your community, not a job to be paid in wages.
