Lady K and the Kings of Swing
Enjoy this 17-piece Frank-Sinatra-style big band that recreates the sounds of Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, and more. Lady K and the Kings of Swing, with jazz vocalist Carla Helmbrecht, will perform at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Dougherty Valley Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $20, $8 for youth. 'Russian Romances'
Amici Lyric Opera presents an exciting performance by soprano Elena Yakoubovsky and pianist Simona Snitkovskaya from 3-4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23 at the Lafayette Library. 'We Are the Nation: A Tribute to Veterans'
The Contra Costa Chamber Orchestra presents a special tribute to Veterans at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23 at Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek. Danville Girls Chorus 'Winter Carnival'
The Danville Girls Chorus will perform their Winter Concert, "Winter Carnival," at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6 at East Bay Four Square Church in Danville. Cantabella Children's Chorus
The award-winning choir of K-12th graders presents a seasonal blend of reverence and merriment from 1-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13; followed by the 4-12th graders from 4-5:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 4001 Stoneridge Drive.
