Walk to End Alzheimer's
All are invited to attend the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's Event, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Heather Farm Park in Walnut Creek. 6th Annual Wheels for Meals Bike Ride
Join 1,200 new and seasoned cyclists as they ride through the beautiful Livermore Valley Wine Country in support of providing nutritious meal delivery to home-bound seniors, from 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Shadow Cliffs in Pleasanton. 3 routes accommodate riders of all levels (15, 35 and 70 miles). Patxi's Supports Project Second Chance
On Tuesday, Oct. 21, Patxi's Pizza in Lafayette will donate 10% of its proceeds for the entire day to Project Second Chance, the Contra Costa County Library's adult literacy program. East Bay Light The Night Walk
Light The Night Walk supports The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's lifesaving cancer research and free support services for patients and their families. The walk will be from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 in Walnut Creek. There is no minimum fundraising, but participants who raise $100 or more will receive a lantern, t-shirt, and dinner. Just Like New Fund: Holiday Sale
The Animal Lover's Boutique will host their Holiday Sale from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Feline Medical Center in Pleasanton. Ragin' Cajun Goes to Rio
Ragin' Cajun is the San Francisco East Bay's Mardi Gras event of the year! This year there's a twist as the celebration theme moves from New Orleans to Rio for a taste of Carnival!
