'A Christmas Carol'
Brimming with music and dance, love and laughter, spectacular special effects and scary ghosts, it's no wonder thousands of people make this theatrical event a part of their annual holiday traditions. SRCT Presents 'Sleeping Beauty'
See "Sleeping Beauty," based on the fairy tale by Charles Perrault. Infuriated to not having received an invitation to the Royal Christening, the evil fairy Trollarina exacts her revenge on the royal family and her sister fairies by casting a spell on Princess Melisande. Sixteen years later, the Princess is sent into a decade long sleep after pricking her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel. Little does Trollarina realize, more than one spell is about to be broken thanks to the kiss of an enchanted Faun. The show runs at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 5-21 at Front Row Theater in San Ramon. 'Candide'
Join young Candide, his beloved Cunegonde, the absurdly optimistic philosopher Pangloss, and a virtual clown car of other eccentric characters on their picaresque journey around the world in search of the meaning of life.
