Mustangs stampede at NCS Championships

Both both and girls take basketball titles

Both the girls and boys Monte Vista High School varsity basketball teams won their respective North Coast Section championships held at St. Mary's College on Saturday night.

The girls played at 6 p.m., beating Deer Valley 57-40.

The boys' game followed at 8 p.m., and the Mustangs faced Newark Memorial, winning 52-43.

Go, Mustangs!
