Four young men have been charged with threats of violence after allegedly taking property from a 15-year-old who was looking to buy marijuana from them.
According to police, when the 15-year-old met the four teens around 3:55 p.m. Saturday afternoon behind Taco Bell, instead of getting marijuana, he was robbed and forced to turn over money, a cellphone and a backpack.
No weapon was used during the robbery, police said.
Danville police assisted Contra Costa Sheriffs, who made the arrest a short time later on Danville Boulevard, south of Stone Valley Road in Alamo, without incident.
Joseph Cefalu, 19; Brandin Kumro, 18; Cameron Talebi, 18; and a 17-year-old juvenile male were charged.
The three adults were booked in the Contra Costa County Jail in Martinez. The juvenile was issued a juvenile citation and released to his parents.
The 15-year-old was not charged.
