Danville's All-Star 10- and 11-year-olds have a shot at clinching the Northern California championship with a win tonight against Scotts Valley.
It's the second time in the playoffs the two teams have faced each other. In their last game, Wednesday, Danville won 11-4, powered by nine hits, led by Darroch Koels, who went 2 for 4.
Starting pitcher Koel lasted more than 3 innings, and was followed by Ryan Bowman, Jared Dawson with Connor Redmond closing.
Danville has the home field advantage at Osage park, which officials noted is unusual, since the park selections are chosen independent of the team's record.
If Danville loses tonight, a second Championship game will be played Saturday.
