Alarm permits are available online for Danville residents

Town of Danville has begun to implement a new ordinance targeting false alarms. Danville residents are encouraged to register their alarms with the town during the month of December by visiting www.danville.ca.gov. Under the ordinance approved Sept. 20, of this year fines will be assessed when a residential or commercial alarm sends out a false signal. For more information, contact Crime Prevention Specialist Mike Wells at 314-3707 or mwells@danville.ca.gov.

I sincerely hope that the record of who has (or doesn't have) alarms is not made public!
