Get the inside scoop at Danville Police's Citizen's Academy

Danville residents interested in learning about how the police operate and what happens behind the scenes at the Danville Police Department will get the opportunity this spring as the DPD begins its Citizen's Police Academy.

Over the next several weeks, police will be taking sign-ups for the Academy. The six-week long class will focus on police methods and procedures, and run from 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays, starting Oct. 9. Class size is limited to 12 residents.

For more information, contact Sgt. Jason Haynes at 314-3700 or jhaynes@danville.ca.gov.
