Woman hospitalized after vehicle hits tree near Blackhawk

A driver was hospitalized after crashing into a tree in Blackhawk Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision was reported at about 12:45 p.m. near Blackhawk Club Drive and Red Cedar Court, CHP Officer James Evans said.

The adult female driver of a Nissan suffered major injuries and was taken to John Muir Medical Center, Evans said.

No other vehicles were believed to have been involved in the crash, which remains under investigation by the CHP.

So What...Why is that accident so important and the others in Alamo, Danville Etc Etc are not? You have it listed under "Top Stories". I am sure if you look hard enough you can discover other more interesting things that happened in our area.

It's hard to figure our what motivates your staff to publish what you publish. The article was so short anyway, why bother.
