Danville releases survey on Osage park play area

Danville officials have introduced a new survey to gather public input on what changes residents would like made to the Osage Station Park play area.

"This will be a great way for us to get a sense for what our residents would like to see at the park," Town of Danville Recreation Services Manager Henry Perezalonso said. "We want residents to feel like they have a part in this, since it is their park."

The online survey is open until Dec. 10. Town officials will collect the results and present them to the Parks and Leisure Services Commission on Dec. 11.

Under the Osage Station Park Master Plan, the 35-acre park will be renovated and updated, with the first phase addressing the play and picnic area. The survey is designed as a way for residents to provide feedback during the planning phase.

For more information on the survey, contact Perezalonso at 314-3454 or

@Jrenee - Thanks for the suggestion! It's good to get that feedback. Would you mind also taking the survey and getting your suggestion on record? The more people who weigh in on the survey, the better we can plan. The survey can be found at Web Link

Thanks again!
