Danville resident named TRAFFIX program manager

Elaine Cortez Schroth of Danville has been named the program manager for TRAFFIX.

Operated jointly by the town of Danville, city of San Ramon, Contra Costa County and the San Ramon Valley School District with funding from Contra Costa County Measure J, TRAFFIX aims to reduce congestion at some of the San Ramon Valley's busiest intersections caused by parents driving their children to and from school.

TRAFFIX currently serves Los Cerros and Pine Valley middle schools; Country Club, Green Valley, Neil Armstrong, Vista Grande, Walt Disney elementary schools; and California and Monte Vista high schools.

An annual TRAFFIX pass costs $275. More information about the program can be found at ridetraffix.com.
