Danville drivers can expect traffic delays near a pair of public construction projects in town during the next several days, town officials announced.
East Bay Municipal Utility District crews will be excavating water lines downtown on a portion of Diablo Road at Front Street Friday (Jan. 17) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work will cause the closures of the left-turn lane on eastbound Diablo Road at Front Street and the left turn from northbound Front Street during work hours.
In southern Danville, construction on the Caltrans soundwall project will result in San Ramon Valley Boulevard being reduced to one lane between Fountain Springs Drive and Jewell Terrace. The lane closures will be in effect weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the next two weeks.
Town officials ask motorists to anticipate minor delays and drive cautiously through the work areas.
