The San Ramon Valley Unified School District is hosting forums this month at each of its high schools to gather public input about the district's goals for the coming years.
The events are part of SRVUSD's effort to draft its Local Control and Accountability Plan, which must outline district objectives and ways to assess progress under the state's new Local Control Funding Formula.
The upcoming forums provide parents, educators and other community members the chance to offer their opinions about what the district's LCAP should look like, officials said. Attendees can also learn more about the new funding system and share ideas about how to enhance student achievement and engagement district-wide.
The first forum will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 4) in the California High School performing arts center.
The remaining forums, also starting at 6:30 p.m., will occur this Thursday (Feb. 6) at San Ramon Valley High School (commons building), Feb. 13 at Monte Vista High School (performing arts center) and Feb. 27 at Dougherty Valley High School (commons).
Officials said child care and refreshments would be available at each forum. For questions or comments about the LCAP, email email@example.com.
