I know this is serious stuff but, hopefully, you can see the lighter side:

1. "Vandalism at 11:06 a.m. at the Danville Police Department"
So who is watching the store?

2. "Petty theft at 1:33 a.m. Street information not disclosed"
Let me guess, someone stole the street name?

DPD - keep up the good work!

Good evening,

I just wanted to take a moment and say thanks to Sherm and Peter for the support. And the good natured ribbing. 😊

It's funny, we get that comment/question about vandalism every so often. The answer is no, we don't have a serial tagger targeting the office. The reason that address shows up is that occasionally a victim of a vandalism will come to the PD to report the incident. When it initially gets entered the place where the report was taken will be listed as the location of the incident. It all gets sorted out in processing, but that's why sometimes, that addres pops up on the log.

Hope this helps.

Have a good night.

Geoff
