Danville roadwork to start Monday

Five-day plant-pruning project on Diablo Road to occur next week

Roadwork is scheduled to begin Monday (Aug. 4) on Diablo Road in Danville between Alameda Diablo and Avenida Nueva.

Workers will be pruning plants along the road Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Traffic control will be in place and drivers can experience some delays, according to town officials.

The pruning is expected to be completed by Friday. Officials advise that motorists use caution while driving through the work area.
