Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-Dublin) is holding a town hall meeting for San Ramon residents this Thursday (Aug. 7) at the San Ramon Community Center's Terrace Room, 12501 Alcosta Boulevard, from 6:30-8 p.m.
Swalwell, whose district includes San Ramon, will be addressing issues currently being debated in Congress from Ukraine, such as the border crisis and how we can ensure veterans receive care and benefits. He will also be taking questions from the audience.
"My job is to listen to my constituents at home and work for them in Washington, D.C.," Swalwell said. "Town halls are great opportunities to hear constituents' views on the issues affecting them and their family, and also connect constituents with my office staff who can assist residents experiencing difficulties with federal agencies like the Social Security Administration or Department of Veterans Affairs."
The free event is open to the public. If interested, RSVP online.
