Swalwell talks veterans' rights, local issues at San Ramon town hall meeting

14th Town Hall since January 2013

Approximately 150 people packed the Terrace Room at the San Ramon Community Center Thursday for Congressman Eric Swalwell's Town Hall Meeting.

Swalwell gave a brief overview of his accomplishments of his 19 months in office, including his continued involvement in the bipartisan freshman United Solutions Caucus. His main focus was the local economy, veterans' rights, homeland security, immigration reform and district issues.

For the final hour of the meeting, Swalwell fielded questions and heard comments from audience members, whose concerns ranged from job creation and veterans' affairs to immigration reform and the recent events in the Middle East.
