San Ramon police continue search for missing woman

Authorities: Luba Lusherovich, 77, suffers from dementia, speaks little English

San Ramon police are continuing to search Thursday morning for a missing woman who suffers from dementia and speaks little English, officials said.

Luba Lusherovich, 77, was last seen wearing a dark shirt and dark pants walking on Bollinger Canyon Road near Marsh Drive, according to police.

Contra Costa County Search and Rescue searched for Lusherovich until 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning and resumed their search at 7 a.m., according to San Ramon Police official Lt. Denton Carlson.

The most recent update provided by Carlson stated that as of 9:30 a.m., Lusherovich has not been found.

Anyone with information that may assist in locating Lusherovich is asked to contact the San Ramon Police Department at 973-2779.
