My fondest memories of Uncle Dennis are of his soft spoken voice, his unconditional love, his cooking, and fun loving ways. One time when he and Aunt Donna came back to visit he wanted to cook supper....spagetti. I was a bit nervous and reluctant to let him in my kitchen as I was never known for my cooking skills. As he starts muddling through my cabinets he quickly saw that this was going to call for a trip to the grocery store and off he went. He didn't like my selection of spices or lack there of. Anyway he came back with 3 sacks of groceries, mostly spices, for simple spagetti. He gave me his famous wink and said "this will get you started" as he snickered. We had many laughs over silly things such as Beeno, Almond joy candy bars, picking Grandma off the floor and the list goes on.
His passing leaves a very deep void in my Aunt Donna's heart as well as the rest of his family but we all have wonderful memories that noone can take from us. So Uncle Dennis I hope you are enjoying a beer and your letting Grandma have an Almond joy. I send my love.
RIP until we meet again.xoxo
