Instant celebrity

When Jenn Dietrich, Monte Vista Class of 2000, answered the casting call for a Budweiser commercial, little did she know her gig as a beauty queen hugging a Dalmatian poseur (whose "spots" rubbed off on her) would lead to a spread in the Wall Street Journal. The commercial is on top of the polls for the best of the Super Bowl ads, bringing fame to Jenn - and the well-trained pooch. Her mom Pamela Dietrich said Jenn enjoyed making the commercial because she loves dogs. This particular pooch, she added, was "rescued," only three weeks before the commercial was filmed.
