Claire Isabelle MacDonell Bisson

Claire Isabelle MacDonell Bisson, 75, passed away at her home in Alamo with her family by her side Jan. 28 after a long illness.

She was born in Berkeley on March 20, 1931, to Wayne and Antoinette MacDonell and was a 38-year resident of Alamo. She liked old movie musicals, crossword puzzles, collecting antiques and gardening as well as watching ice skating. She also enjoyed camping with her family and spending time at the beach.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Charles Bisson of Alamo; brothers Wayne MacDonell of Orinda and Bruce MacDonell of Pleasant Hill; her children John Bisson of Alamo, Scott Bisson of Livermore and Carla Bisson of Alamo; two grandchildren and four nephews.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Feb. 3 at St. Isidore's Church in Danville. Interment is at Oakmont Memorial park in Lafayette. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
