Role Players 'Black box' performance opens tonight

The Danville Role Players Ensemble Theatre will put on Michael Frayn's "Copenhagen," a moving drama about the Nazi effort to develop the nuclear bomb, at 8:30 p.m., March 9-10 and 16-17. The play is based on the historical facts surrounding the notorious meeting between physicists Werner Heisenberg and Niels Bohr in 1941. It tackles thematic issues like what it means to be human and what it means to be good.

The intimate "black box" production will be performed at the Danville Town Meeting Hall at 201 Front St. Tickets are $10 and reservations can be made by calling Role Players at 820-1278. Tickets also will be available at the door.
