Role Players' Sondheim Revue opens tonight

It's love and loss in the form of music. Stephen Sondheim's "Putting It Together," a bittersweet musical set at an all-night black tie party, will run at the Danville Village Theatre from April 20-May 12. Role Players Ensemble, a nonprofit community theater company based in Danville, will put on a "stunning evening of soaring melodies" that features songs with "emotional depth." Tickets are $24 for adults; $22 for seniors and students; $18 on Thursdays; and can be purchased at 314-3400 or at www.danvilletheatre.com. Tonight's opening show begins at 8 p.m.
