Rudolph F. Heede

Danville resident Rudolph F. Heede, 85, passed away in Walnut Creek on April 5.

He was born July 15, 1921, in Oakland, grew up in Berkeley and served in the Army during World War II. He worked in the automotive industry at various dealerships for 42 years, living in Walnut Creek and later Danville.

He was the beloved husband of Lu Heede of Danville; and the loving brother of Matthias O. Heede (Meg) of Sacramento. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette on April 12. Those wishing to may send memorial contributions in his name to the John Muir Foundation, 1400 Treat Blvd., Walnut Creek 94597.
