Fresh produce and the Danville Weekly

The Danville Weekly will have a booth at the Thursday evening Farmers Market on May 24 to celebrate its second anniversary. Staff members will be handing out goodies and hoping to meet members of the community.

"I love to meet our readers," said editor Dolores Fox Ciardelli. "Since it is our mission to cover the community, we want to get out there and hear about their story ideas and what we might be missing."

The evening market is taking place 4-8 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 16 in the parking lot next to the Museum of the San Ramon Valley on Railroad Avenue at Prospect. The Saturday morning Farmers Market is at the same location, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. year round.
