Museum to host Train Day

Train enthusiasts young and young-at-heart will visit the Museum of San Ramon Valley between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Sunday, June 24, for its annual Train Day celebration.

An outdoor mini-train ride will take visitors around the parking lot. Other activities will include antique cars; a dunk tank; new and antique fire trucks; music; rescue animals; drawings; toy trains; and ice cream for modest fees. The Museum Store will have train items for sale, and model trains are on display in June and July.

The Museum of the San Ramon Valley is located at 205 Railroad Ave., Danville. Summer hours are 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
