Library exhibit highlights town turning 25

Twenty-five years ago, after a contentious election, Danville was incorporated and officially became the Town of Danville. Now through the end of August, the Danville Library is exhibiting artifacts highlighting the campaign for incorporation and the early days of the official town. The display includes drawings of the first Town Council, each created by artist Dug Waggoner and presented to council members upon their retirement from office.
