Shark sightings

The U-15 Boys Bronze division Mustang Sharks coached by Ziad Tleimat, with assistant coach Stevan Hoffman, exceeded all expectations in three tournaments in the Mustang Shark Tournament in August.

The Sharks took home a second-place trophy in the Novato Classic on Aug. 4-5, playing up an age bracket. In the Soccer by the Bay tourney, a D 1 (gold) tournament in San Mateo County on Aug. 11-12, the Sharks were short-handed with only one substitute player for each of their four games but still finished fourth overall. The Sharks headed down to California's soccer mecca in Orange County for the annual Toyota Orange Classic Division 1 tournament Aug. 18-19 and brought home second-place medals one more time; playing again with only one sub.
