Asked in downtown Danville

How do you feel about office romances?

it seems that it's more trouble than it's worth. There's plenty of fish in the sea. Why date people in your own office?

Charles Meng

I'm married to someone I had an office romance with. We met at work, and we were both single at the same time. We became friends, then fell in love and got married.

I think they're big no no's. I stay away from them. I know people who have had them, they never turn out well, and then they have to go to work with this person and see them every day.

Kelly Bitzer

It's the most dangerous romance you can have. The truth always comes out and then you're in trouble. I have seen it. Never, never in the same ZIP code. Even single people, they split up and then they're in trouble.

Juergen Coste

retired businessman

I think it's a bad, bad idea. First of all, I don't think it sets anyone up for anything good. Maybe 1 percent end well, with marriage, but the others are just lust. Not to mention the whole sexual harassment thing. Someone is going to get nabbed on that.
