Eco Day at Alamo Women's Club

Drop off old computers, TV sets, cell phones, household batteries, prescription glasses and hearing aids tomorrow at the Alamo Women's Club, 1401 Danville Blvd. The club is holding an Eco Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to give folks a chance to discard these items for free in the environmentally correct way.

Lana Reichick will teach about water conservation, from 10:30-11 a.m. Also Shred It! will be onsite to destroy personal documents for $10 per banker's box. A light breakfast and lunch will also be available.

Proceeds from the event will go to Pennies for Pines, to buy seedlings for reforestation in northern California.
