Big week for Sharks
This week the Sharks beat Fremont 9-1 on Saturday and pulled off a big win against the Pleasanton Ballistic, 4-3. Ballistic scored first midway through the first half but the Sharks answered back with a shot by Zuheir Tleimat, assisted by Casey Sbrana. Kevin Trisko had a fantastic goal outside the 18 yard line with an assist by Spencer Woberoski to bring the score to 2-1. Pleasanton came back to tie it up at the half.
Jordon Guisti was alone on a breakaway and brought the score up to 3-2 early in the second half. The Ballistic got their third goal by just barely getting it past the Shark's goalkeeper, Austin Anderson, who had some terrific and hard earned saves.
Mikhail 'Tree' Torru scored the winning goal in the last 10 minutes of the game on a penalty kick. Jacob Clark, Derek Morefield and Steven Armstrong made some key defensive plays to give the Sharks their third win over the Pleasanton Ballistics and keep them in first place.
