County Equal Employment committee has vacancies

The county Advisory Council on Equal Employment Opportunity has vacancies for an education representative and for a community representative. The Advisory Council serves the Board of Supervisors regarding the implementation of the County's Affirmative Action Plan. Its members review the Affirmative Action Program and recommend actions that facilitate the county reaching its goals.

Members serve without compensation, and meetings are held the morning of the fourth Friday of each month in the County Administration Building in Martinez. Call 335-1045, for an application, which is due Oct. 22.
