Meet Tracy ***include mug of "dog"***

Little Tracy has been with Tri-Valley Animal Rescue for more than a year now and is still looking for a home to call her own. Everyone can meet Tracy and other dogs at a special adoption event being held tomorrow in honor of National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month.

More than 10 rescue groups will participate, including Pug Rescue, Tri-Valley Animal Rescue, Golden Gate Lab Rescue, Border Collie Rescue, Contra Costa Animal Services, SF Samoyed Rescue, Amazing Grey Greyhound Rescue, Northern CA Sled Dog Rescue and the Tri-Valley SPCA. Each group will have dogs available for adoption, information about their foster dogs and/or breed specific information, and most dogs can be taken home that day.

The event takes place from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at Bishop Ranch Veterinary Center and Urgent Care, 2000 Bishop Drive at Norris Canyon Road in San Ramon.
