Sharks clinch league title

The Mustang Sharks (Division III) coached by Ziad Tleimat and Steven Hoffman clinched the U-15 Boys Al Caffodio League title with a 6-1 win over the Mustang United. The Sharks defense led by Jacob Clark, Derek Morefield, Stephen Armstrong and Kevin Trisko didn't allow a shot on goal until the Sharks were leading with a score of 3-0 early in the second half.

Six different Sharks' offensive players shared in the scoring. Casey Sbrana started it off with a goal shot outside the 18-yard line, and Patrick Oswald gave the Sharks their second point right before the half, with a great set up pass from Zuheir Tleimat.

Tleimat's third goal for the team was headed into the net with an assist from Spencer Weberski. Mikhail 'Tree' Torru scored midway through the second half with an assist from forward Jordon Giusti who scored their fifth point. Rhys Tong-Jones brought the final goal score to 6 with an assist from forward Tleimat. Goalkeeper Austin Anderson's defensive leadership and great saves gave the Sharks what they needed to keep the United at bay.
