Perspective - December 14, 2007

Asked around downtown Danville

If you had to spend Christmas alone, what would you do?

I'd give what I would have gotten my friends to charity. Then I would get takeout Chinese and watch "The Royal Tenenbaums."

Robbie Pruett

My husband and I were alone last Christmas so we invited a bunch of artists over for dinner. You'd be surprised how many artists are alone. We had a potluck. It was tremendous fun.

Diana Busse

I'd kick back and cook myself a huge feast of spaghetti. Then I'd have a beer and pass out on the couch.

I'd watch home videos of Christmas from when my son was young.

Michael Ray

I'd want to volunteer somewhere so I could be around people. Maybe at the farm sanctuary in Vacaville - they rescue animals. Then I'd have to watch "It's a Wonderful Life."
