Events will take place 3-5 p.m., Saturday, May 24, at Oak Hill Park Community Center, 3005 Stone Valley Road; and 5-7 p.m., Friday, June 27, at Danville Community Center, 420 Front St.
The May 24 session is "Go Green," and participants will learn how to turn trash into treasure, creating crafts using recyclable items. This event is for children of all ages.
The June 27 session, "Fancy Fruit," is all about food. Children will be excited about cooking and eating healthy with a new twist on fruit. After eating, families can enjoy a Moonlight Movie on the Town Green.
