County cuts expected to reduce police presence

Cuts are expected to have a serious impact on county law enforcement, as the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors continues to grapple with funding woes and massive budget issues.

Dear Dolores and P-2B/P5 committees,

May we have a budget for employing the eight graduates and let them find their training among our qualified deputies in the Alamo region?

Please ask Diane Barley, Bill Nelson and Elmer Glasser for a proposal that exceptional contributions can fund for this coverage.

To bad Alamo wasn't in more control over how money was spent on servicing it police needs :(
