Breaking News: Much of Downtown Danville Without Power

Original post made by Mark Curtis on Sep 15, 2009

Much of downtown Danville was without power for several hours on Tuesday, after an apparent transformer malfunction.

Crews with PG&E were doing repair work along Hartz Avenue near Hartz Way. A worker said he hoped power would be restored by 4:00 or 4:30 at the latest.

Many restaurants had to close for lunch, since they had no power.
