County Fair outpaces all others

The Alameda County Fair, with a 21.5 percent increase in attendance last year, has outpaced all the Top 50 Fairs in America for 2009, reported Carnivalwarehouse.com, and 19 of the Fairs larger than the Alameda County Fair are State Fairs. July 3, 2009, became the single highest attended day in the Fair's recent history with approximately 50,000 fairgoers.

I think more people should go to the fair! It's a great event locally here in the Tri-Valley and over the past few years has been a good host for its customers. When you're home from college over the summer, you can go watch the fireworks or enjoy the carnival rides and feel like a kid again. I think that's something nowadays that may seem old-fashioned, but I recommend it!
