Alamo planning huge party for National Night Out Against Crime

Original post made on Aug 2, 2010

The people organizing Alamo's first National Night Out Against Crime are hoping for big things -- and a big turnout -- for Tuesday's event. Dear Dolores,

We were wondering if Glenn got a ticket while driving too rapidly, like many commuters, through the Alamo business district?

At a quick glance, our celebrated Brass Bear Deli could be taken for the Brass Boar. A chanced glance might make one think he just passed Sageway or CBS. Glancing quickly, one might miss many of our retailers that serve the Alamo region well.

It might be time for Alamo to have its own Bete's Brass Pail and War Clash. Did I get that right? and what does Pete have to do with it?

Dear Dolores,

This is an expression of regret to Bob, as the Danville commentator above, for the assumption that his post was placed by me and was removed by EMCEB publishers. It seems such actions have limited relationship to Forum terms of use.
