Those of you with an eye for detail may have noticed a new name popping up on your screen. Allow me to introduce myself as the new editor: Hello! My name is Jessica Lipsky. I am a Tri-Valley native and Cal High grad, and am excited to continue to publish the high-quality stories Danville Express is known for.

Welcome Jessica
As you will find out very quickly, you'll have a tough crowd to contend with. Seems like too many Danvilians have nothing better to do that moan and groan and show discontent in this forum. Pathetically funny!

Best of luck to you Jessica! I hope you find this work to be fulfilling and rewarding.....you will encounter a few cranky crackpots along the way but we all do as well in our chosen fields at times.

Dear Dolores and Jessica,

Well-written stories replacing edited news releases are being noticed by neighbors on their corridor e-exchanges. Even a calmer forum is being noticed with more specific commentary on the issues and events defined in Express stories.
