Supervisor Mary Nejedly Piepho announces new chief of staff

Karen Basting, a Contra Costa native with over 20 years of local management experience, will be Supervisor Mary Nejedly Piepho's new chief of staff.

I didn't realize that individual supervisors had their own staff. I knew that there was a County staff, just not a staff per supervisor.

What are these positions paid and is there a little on the size of each staff?

Enquiring taxpayers want to know!

That should read "limit" not "little"

The pay is very high , probably 60K plus, but if your a male or minority, don't look for a job with Mary Piepho's Office , she seems to only hire white females. Check the history....
