In memory of Maj. Evan J. Mooldyk

Maj. Evan J. Mooldyk, a Danville resident, died Jan. 12 in Khowst, Afghanistan, while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. He was 47. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, Feb. 11, at the Oak Hill Park Community Center, 3005 Stone Valley Road, Danville.

Our school community offers our sympathy to the Mooldyk family. Major Mooldyk was a man of honor and left behind a wonderful family; may he rest in peace.
