As a public school teacher---I would suggest you choose a minority moniker to get a more positive viewing by admissions. A past student from ucsd and a 5.4 GPA was turned down by medical schools yet" Latina girl" a classmate---with 19% MCAT and D's is going to Stanford! Hopefully someone will wash her out before patients are harmed. The days of work hard and be the best are long gone due to our penchant for diversity at ANY cost.
