Gigantic golf ball or scientific sphere?

Original post made on Jun 19, 2011

Visible from much of San Ramon's west side, a gigantic golf ball erupts from behind the trees that separate it from Crow Canyon Road and the Iron Horse Trail. To some, it may look like a miniature version of Disney World's Epcot Center but to the scientists that occupy the building five days a week, the golf ball is a major scientific epicenter.

Perhaps instead of working only on electrical problems, PG&E can set aside part of it's golf-ball brain trust for more complex issues. You know, like how to lay and inspect gas pipes that don't leak & explode.....

I get so tired of snide comments on almost all of the stories on Danville Express. Of course we want safety from PG&E and others. I found it interesting to learn a little bit of what goes on in that dome.

Yeah Evelyn, and I get tired of hearing almost daily of PG& E's lame excuses and a public utility commission that refuses to do their job. My point is that if this coddled electric provider can do all this wonderful lab work, what possible reason can they give to continue allowing far more serious (yet far less complex) issues to remain unaddressed?
I direct my snarky comments to those who richly deserve them.

Why do you think they don't have a facility to do as you suggest?

According to your logic, they can have one or the other, but not both.

What leads you to think this?
